We've reworked how you export applicant and credit-application data. Instead of a single fixed CSV, you can now design your own export formats — choosing the file type, exactly which fields are included, the order they appear, and even your own column names — and reuse them across your team.
What you can do now
- Export in more formats — CSV, Excel (
.xlsx), tab-delimited (TSV), and fixed-width, so the file drops straight into your internal systems. - Choose your fields — pick exactly which fields to include, drag them into the order you want, rename any column header, and turn the header row on or off.
- Save multiple profiles — e.g. a "QuickBooks Import" and an "Internal CRM" profile — and mark one as your default.
- Far more fields available — applicant details, locations and contacts, key credit-application info (status, approval amount, decision date, account number, and more), your custom Private Note fields, and the Additional Information questions from your own application form.
- Fine-tune for picky imports — set the delimiter, text qualifier, character encoding, and date format.
Setting up an export profile
- Go to Settings → Export Settings.
- Click New Export Profile, name it, and choose a file format.
- Add the fields you want, drag to reorder, and rename any columns.
- (Optional) Adjust delimiter/encoding/date options, then Save. Use Make Default to set your go-to profile.
Exporting your data
- A single applicant: open their dashboard and use the Export menu to pick a profile.
- A whole search: filter the Credit Applications list, then use Export Results and choose a profile. Large exports are prepared in the background — you'll get a notification with a download link when it's ready.
Your existing CSV export still works exactly as before: we've created a default profile that matches it, so nothing changes unless you want it to.
